i got a kick out of these pillars arranged in height order. they were at the church that brown is restoring.
after our first full day in petra jeff and i went to the cave bar. the cave bar is a huge tourist place. it's an actual bar in a real nebatean tomb. it's certainly the most unusual place i've ever had a beer.
jeff and i enjoying some sheesa (or hubbly bubbly as the brits call it, or nargala as the jordanians call it) in the cave bar.
PETRA-- DAY 2
pathway looking into the theater
pictures of the theater. it holds around 2,000 people. lots of little children were scampering up the seats and all around. i'm not quite sure how they made it down though.
